Week 7 - Scenarios and all other sprites
Hi! This week I worked in finishing all the necessary sprites and scenarios for the game.
I focused mainly on finishing the most important sprites and the assets that make the environment of the game. Because all of our characters had such different scenarios in the beggining, I made a group of story themed assets to use in each of their stories (Gretel gets a witch themed scenario, red hood a forest one, and the hero a castle!).
In the beggining of the week our team agreed that if I managed to find tilesets that we liked online I would probably be able to invest more time in drawing more customized scenarios to make the game more unique, so I went searching. After finding some that fit the game, I used the same color scheme for the assets to match the tileset. The result is very interesting and in my opinion very child-like themed (my personal favorite is Gretel's witch hut)!
I also took time to draw some of our bosses attack sprites and fix little details in others.
Besides that, I drew our poster, which although still in discussion regarding some details It's posted above :)
Finally, I started creating our amazing cutscenes, which are still in development so I will not be able to showcase them, but I'll use that to my advantage and say it's a surprise for the MOJO!
Hope you like it :)
