Week 3 - Hero and Red Hood sprites and animations
A Child's Tale » Devlog
Hi! I'm doing the assets for this game!
This week I decided to start with the player sprites and animations since they're the hardest for me, but the ones the player will look at more when playing the game.
We'll be having 3 player character designs so I made a blank character than can be used between the three and started animating.
After that I sketched the hero and redhood sprites and spent a few days testing and remaking them until I was happy.
Hope you like it!

I really like the video. It really helps show the assets.
Although I have to ask, why do the arms swing along with the leg of the same side? Normally, you swing your left arm up while putting your right leg forward. Was it a design decision?
